EZM Ads privacy policy

Last updated 16 October 2026 (contact address changed the same day). Applies to the Meta application "EZM Ads" (app ID 1430697325859581).

What EZM Ads is

EZM Ads is an internal tool used by EZM, a United Kingdom sole trader, to create, manage and report on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising for the brands it operates. The application is used only by its operator. It is not published for, offered to, or installed by members of the public, and it has no end users, accounts or sign-up.

Data the application processes

Through Meta's Marketing API and Meta's Ads MCP server, the application reads and writes advertising data belonging to the operator's own Meta business portfolio:

The application does not collect personal data from people who see the ads or visit the advertised websites. Website visitor data, where it exists, is processed by the relevant brand's own website and by Meta under that brand's privacy policy and Meta's terms, not by this application.

How the data is used

Only to run the operator's own advertising: building paused draft campaigns for the operator to review and activate, and reading performance reports. Data is not sold, shared with third parties, or used for any other purpose.

Storage and retention

Access tokens are stored locally by the operator in an environment file and are never published. Reports derived from aggregated advertising figures may be kept in the operator's business records. Meta retains advertising data under its own terms.

Data deletion instructions

Because the application has no end users, it holds no end-user data to delete. If you believe the application holds data about you, or you want any data removed, email ops@ezmcommerce.co.uk with the subject "EZM Ads data request". Requests are answered within 30 days. Access to the application itself can be removed at any time from the operator's Meta Business settings.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 you have the right to access, correct or erase personal data held about you, to restrict or object to its processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). To exercise any right, use the contact above.
